Potassium iodide
Indications/Uses
Turbidity & bleeding of the vitreous body caused by age, myopia, hypertonic, diabetes, periphlebitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill a drop into the conjunctival pouch 1-3 times daily.
Special Precautions
For external use only. Avoid direct contact between the tip of dropper & eyes to prevent contamination. Discontinue use if eyes in pain, change in vision, irritation or reddish occurred >72 hr. Not to be administered if the colour of liqd is changing or becomes turbid. Pregnant & breast feeding women.
Adverse Reactions
Local effect on eyes: Burning feeling or irritation after administration or w/ concomitant increase of tear-drops. Systemic effect: Hyperthyroidism & some acne effect.
